How are sugar gliders as pets?

The sugar gliders are quite interesting and fun to watch. They are a wonderful learning experience and we really enjoy having them. Although they require some upkeep and certainly require that plenty of time be spent with them as the bonding process is very important with these sweet animals -- every bit of it is worth it!

• I used to own 2 sugar gliders that had 2 babies. So all together 4(Snickers, Sprinkles, Skittles, and Sprite) and they were so adorable. I trained the dad easily since he was the most temperable. The guys will get a bald spot and domestic sugar gliders are a brown color instead of the normal black. Unfortunatly my mom didn't want us to run a zoo and gave the last three to another man who raises sugar gliders. Snickers, the first sugar glider and the dad, died unfortuntaly 3 years after we had bought him. ^^ I love animals ^^
